About
I'm the maker behind MiniatureNestStudio. I started building miniature kits about five or six years ago as a way to unwind after long days at work. What began as a quiet hobby turned into something I genuinely look forward to. There's something calming about working at a small scale, where every tiny detail counts.
Over time I noticed I was spending as much time planning my rooms as building them: sketching measurements on scraps of paper, restarting layouts, second-guessing furniture. So I made myself a planner. Then another. Eventually I turned them into the planners and guides in my shop, and lately I've been designing my own wallpapers and tiny packaging too.
I'm Puerto Rican, and much of my work is inspired by the homes, kitchens and corner stores I grew up around. This site is where I share what I've learned along the way, in English and Spanish, so your next room comes together a little more easily.
Happy building. ¡Feliz construcción! — Janice
